The Sunshiny Winner

Yesterday my husband and little one left for a church camp out.  Since they were gone I went out and had a pedicure and ‘girls night’ with an awesome friend who’s husband and little boy were also on aforementioned camping trip.  It was such a fun night.  Thanks, Melanie, for suggesting it!

Those aren’t my feet but mine are cute like that now :)

Brad and Abbi will be back later this afternoon.  If I had known how productive I could be without them here to distract me, I would have been sending them camping every weekend!  It’s only 10am and I’ve already gone to the gym, washed and vacuumed our car, cleaned/vacuumed/moped our house & showered.  Now I’ve just got to get this post up before I head out to some yard sales and the fabric store.  I’m pretty excited about it :)

But anyway…here are the results for the Sunshine projects last week:

And here’s the match-up:

#1 – Vintage Darling Swimsuit – Amanda
#2 – Twisted Picnic Blanket – Brittany
#3 – Hammock Swing – Wendy
#4 – Striped Maxi Dress – Angela
#5 – A Sunny Beach Tent - Kimberly
Wendy blew everyone out of the water, and gained her first win, with her Hammock Swing this week.
I have to admit that does look like the most comfortable thing in the world to sit in.  Perfect for spending a lazy, sunny day in the shade.  A tutorial will be coming early next week so watch for it.
Brittany at BK’s Craft Blog didn’t make it one this week, however.
Wouldn’t that Twisted Picnic Blanket be perfect for a day at the park, though?  It looks like it would be a blast.  Brittany will be having a post about it on her blog this week, along with some tips and tricks that she learned after using it for a little bit.  So make sure you don’t miss it.
Nezt weeks challenge is another fan favorite, Kids Can Do.  It will be up bright and early Monday morning!  I’ll see you then!

No Missy, THANK YOU! My toes were in desperate need of attention and I’m glad that camp-out gave us a chance to do it. Thanks for keeping me company! And I love that hammock chair…I wish I had somewhere to really hang one as well as the skill to make one. Maybe one day I’ll be brave enough to give it a try!
