1.Tell us a little about you and your blog.
Hi ya’ll! I’m Nicole (AKA Cole) and I blog over at Cole’s Corner and Creations.
I’m a stay at home mommy to three sweet kiddos and wife to one handsome guy.
I’m pretty laid back; I’d rather sew than clean; I’d rather eat than cook but I do love to bake and eat baked goods. I come from a big family and they mean everything to me. I love to sew for them. That’s what you’ll find out about on my blog! Come on over and say hi!
2.How and when did you start crafting?
As long as I can remember. One Mom is one great gal and she was always inspiring creativity in her 5 kids. I’m the oldest girl and I’ve been sewing since high school. I started with spirit day costumes, since I was a cheerleader, moved on to clothes for myself and the kids and REALLY, REALLY started sewing a lot when I quit my job as a cheerleading coach and became a stay at home mommy. Sewing is my craft of choice. I dabble in others, but always come back to the true love.
3.How often do you craft?
Every. single. day.
4.Where do you get your inspiration?
Mostly from my kids and family. Also from fabrics and embroidery files.
5.What is your favorite medium to work in?
Have you seen my fabric stash?
6.What is your guilty pleasure?
I guess I don’t have one. I can’t think of anything I do that makes me feel guilty.
7.What makes you smile?
My kids. All kids. Babies. Laughter. Music. Family. Fabric. Candy. Target. Cake.
Not necessarily in that order.
8.What is your favorite thing to do (other than crafting)?
Anything in the house.
Aside from riding bikes, taking a walk, or swimming… I pretty much hate being outside.
I like reading, dancing, baking, watching movies, playing with my kids, and hanging out with my family- in the air conditioning.
