I’m Crafty Party #7

Are you guys getting excited for the final of Season 6 next week?  I am.  it sounds like Amy and Melissa have been working like crazy to get their projects finished up so be sure to check in Monday to see what they came up with.

There was some great stuff in the link-up party last week (like always).  Here are a few of my favorites.

I’ve been dying to make some of these front facing bookshelves for a long time.  I love to find old Golden Books at thrift stores and I’ve gather a lot.  The problem is that they all have the same spine, there’s no way to tell which one is which when they’re on the book shelf.  This means that Abbi just pulls them all off the shelf to find the one she wants then leaves them all there and never picks them back up.  Not only would these let her see the cover without making a mess, I could hang them out of her reach so she would have to ask me to get it for her – another safeguard against the mess.  Thanks Helping Little Hands for a super easy tutorial!

I have a lot of business cards from the few conferences and blogger meet-ups that I’ve been to, but I wan’t sure how to organize them.  I LOVE this idea of a hang-tag rolodex from Homework.

Is this not the happiest summer wreath you’ve ever seen?!  Wendy at Ramblings from the Sunshine State made it and I want to make one just like it.  I’ll have to wait awhile though.  If I put it up now it would just get snowed on.  Please summer hurry up!

So, have any of you been inspired by this weeks theme?  How about from any of the previous projects from SYTYC?

The “I’m Crafty” linky party will go through the weekend where you can link up any project you’ve made because I know you all don’t just think you’re crafty, you are crafty!  It doesn’t even have to be a new project!

Just a few things to remember:

  • Link to a specific post, not just your blog in general
  • People love to know their stuff is enjoyed so be sure to share some comment love with the other linkers!
  • Grab this handy dandy button (or a text link it you like to keep things simple) and add it to your post, sidebar or link-ups page so people know there’s other great stuff linked up here to see. *A few of you are still having trouble posting the button.  I have no idea what the problem is.  Please just link with a text link if the button isn’t working for you…thanks!*
