Halloween Challenge Results

What a busy week! In addition to coordinating things here at SYTYC, some of you may know that I run a conference for DIY and craft bloggers called SNAP! I’ve spent the week getting ready for our tickets to go on sale today. Needless to say, it was a bit of a crush and I am now breathing a HUGE sigh of relief.

If YOU are a blogger interested in attending, we do have just about 50 tickets left for the event. Yep that’s right. In one day we sold nearly 500 tickets. It’s a little bit crazy!

In any event, I am hoping that I am going to see each of our remaining competitors at the event this year! Yay for chillaxing in person! Speaking of our contestants, it’s time to cover this week’s results…

Pumpkin Challenge Results

SYTYC is a 10 week competition. 10 weeks! You know what? 10 weeks is a loooong time my friends. Can you imagine the range of experience and emotion one may go through in 10 weeks? The highs and lows of life, even without the stress of producing weekly for a competition, can be pretty intense. It makes this competition that much harder.

I don’t know about the season’s contestants, but during this 10 week phase I have bad days. Days where I don’t want to write a post. Days that I simply wish I could hit the rewind or pause on.

Why am I telling you this? Well, I think that these ladies work very hard to create and inspire and you know what could make their day? Heck, their week? A heartfelt note from you. So today, after you read our results, maybe hop over and let one or two, or heck all of them know how much you appreciate their work?

Do it because they’re awesome, but do it because in the course of 10 weeks maybe you could use an uplifting note yourself too.

Fall Crafts for Kids Results Season 17,Week 6

Hi! Today I am checking in from Outer Banks, North Carolina, where I am attending Click Retreat. I am having a great time, but boy have we faced some challenges from the darn WEATHER!

Outer Banks North Carolina via NorthCarolina.comvia

Instead of the sun we’ve had a whole lot of gray and no WiFi, but guess what? We’ve had a WHOLE lot of fun! There’s truly nothing like spending time with women who lift you up and inspire you. It’s one of those things that fuels the creative and fires the passion.

I find the same kind of inspiration online as I open emails and post projects right here on SYTYC. I can’t tell you the amount of creativity and work that go into each and every week.

With that said, it’s time to share this week’s results.
