Hi! I’m Missy – wife, mom, wannabe crafter and host of So You Think You’re Crafty.
My sister and I were talking one day about all the craft blogs I stalk on a daily basis. My husband and brother-in-law were sitting near by and asked me which was the best. I answered that I can’t choose a best, they’re all so good. In typical boy fashion my brother-in-law chimed in with, “You should make ‘em fight it out.” That’s it! Have a craft bloggers head-to-head contest. Thus “So You Think You’re Crafty” was born.
SYTYC is a head-to-head crafting competition. Every 10 weeks a new group of crafters is selected. Each week the crafters are given a theme and YOU vote for your favorite. The winner makes a free tutorial and the loser gets ‘sent home.’ And just for good measure, I’ll throw in some of my own craftiness and tips for you from time to time, too.
I hope you enjoy the fantastic crafts that are presented and appreciate the hard work that went into creating them. Just remember, projects and tutorials are for personal use only, not for resale or re-distribution without written consent from their creator.

SYTYC….such a great idea! Thank you for sharing all of this with us. I can’t until I get some more crafting experience under my belt and then I can try out! Expect me back at a later date!
I am so not crafty, so I can appreciate when people are hands on with raw materials and make really cool items. My mom has the crafty gene…I did not get it…
So, I photograph instead!
