1. Tell us a little about you and your blog.
My website is eWillow.com and my blog is called “Paper Clips.” I started eWillow.com
as a place for papercrafters to have their own storefronts to sell their handmade
greeting cards, scrapbooks, home décor items, jewelry, etc. eWillow.com is dedicated
to those who love all things paper!
2.How and when did you start crafting?
I scrapbooked back in the seventies when no one even knew what
scrapbooking was (even I didn’t know what it was!) which was probably before
any of you were even born! After my daughters were born, I taught myself
how to sew and I made them mermaid costumes. Once I realized I could
sew a straight line, I started making and selling doll clothes for the American
Girl doll. My doll clothing business is what led to my love of paper crafting…I
made handmade price tags for my merchandise and I became addicted!
3.How often do you craft?
I craft every waking moment. It is a real obsession for me. If I’m not actually making
something with my hands, my mind is either occupied with thoughts of the next thing I
can make or my eyes are busy scanning the world around me for inspiration.
4.Where do you get your inspiration?
I don’t have one specific thing that inspires me. I try to absorb as much as I can while
I’m shopping or reading magazines, and then I just think about what I see and the ideas
pop into my head.
5.What is your favorite medium to work in?
Paper!
6.What is your guilty pleasure?
M and M’s and all of the Real Housewives shows.
7.What makes you smile?
My girls, my husband, and our cats.
8.What is your favorite thing to do (other than crafting)?
I love to watch old movies over and over and over again. I love to spend time listening to my
daughters tell me stories about their day. It’s fun to watch them dream about their futures.
