Hi! I’m Shannon, and both my blog and etsy shop are named ‘googiemomma.’

That’s me–I’m the googiemomma. Why? Well, when I started having my babies my dad called them his “googies” (apparently “grandchildren” is just too common of a term!). So when I started my blog and etsy shop, I came up with googiemomma.

I’ve been happily married for 12 years, and am the momma to 4 and 7/9 little googies (one currently baking!) My monsters are 10, 8, 6, and 2, and #5 is scheduled to make her appearance towards the end of May (although this momma is hoping for sooner!!!).

Because of my coming little addition, my etsy shop is on hiatus right now. Normally I sell custom wall plaques, personalized to match my clients’ decor and/or requests. Also because of #5, my blog these days mainly consists of much whining about my back and overall “done-ness” with this pregnancy.

Normally however I share some of my sewing projects, home dec projects, any other kind of project I come up with, and sometimes–if you’re fortunate–I even share my Deep Thoughts on the Meaning of Life, The Universe and Everything. I have yet to run into an aisle at the craft store that doesn’t intrigue me, so I kind of dabble in everything.

As for me personally…well, I tend to overshare, I use too many exclamation points, I’ve been a vegetarian for about 17 years, and I’m kind of a stickler for proper spelling.

I guess that’s about it!
