I am a part time working mom of a one-year-old (who could be the E-Trade baby) and proud wife to a Civil Engineer (who gives the best input when I’m creating). I find myself very busy. But in the midst of such a scheduled life, I need time to create in order to stay sane. You’ll find me sharing my latest sewing, crafting and decorating adventures at Made it on Monday. Mondays and Fridays are my days off, so originally most my projects were made on Mondays. I have a short attention span so unless a project can be made in one day, it is unlikely that I’ll ever finish it. Now I find myself dabbling in a little of this or that every day, while Mondays continue to be my most crafty days. I’m definitely happier if I’ve had time with my glue gun! I love the process of seeing something inspirational, having pictures roll around in my head until I can visualize how to do it, and then making it happen. Not to mention the fact that the writer in me (I have a bachelor’s degree in English Communications) loves to express itself through story telling. While adjusting to the life of being a mom, blogging has been my sanity. I’ve also been gradually venturing into to Etsy world with my shop, Ruffles ‘n Such: For the love of all things ruffled, fluttered and flowered. I’m so excited for the challenge of So You Think You’re Crafty!
